Umuaka, Imo State — Some youths in Umuaka have described Etiokwe Njaba as the worst Local Government Chairman the community has experienced, accusing his administration of failing to deliver any meaningful project in Umuaka since assuming office.

The youths alleged that, despite the passage of time, Umuaka has received little or no tangible development from the council administration and insisted that the community would seek an alternative candidate when the next Njaba council election approaches.

According to them, the most visible activity associated with the administration in Umuaka is the regular circulation of newsletters and monthly goodwill messages, often beginning with the phrase “reaffirms commitment.”

“Which commitment is he reaffirming?” one participant reportedly asked during a recent UPA discussion.

The youths expressed disappointment over what they described as the continued neglect of Umuaka, questioning why the community has been left behind in local government development.
