Two women were caught on video on Saturday , May 2, 2026, engaging in a theft incident at Afor Oru Market in Orlu.
According to eyewitnesses and footage circulating, the women were apprehended by market security while in the act. They reportedly admitted to taking a total sum of ₦45,000 from traders and customers.
When questioned, one of the suspects identified herself as being from Mbieri in Mbaitoli, while the other claimed to be from Obinwanne in Umuaka.
Market authorities have handed the suspects over to the appropriate security agencies for further investigation.
