Umuaka is mourning the loss of Mrs. Mmadụ Favour Amarachi, a 29-year-old mother of triplets who passed away due to postpartum hemorrhage after delivering via Caesarean section at Federal Medical Centre Owerri.

- Funeral Mass: Friday, 20th March 2026 (10:00 AM) at St. Joseph Catholic Parish, Nempi
- Interment: Western Nempi School Field, Orie Nempi (12:00 noon)
Mrs. Favour’s death is the second maternal loss in Acharaji Umuaka in less than three weeks, sparking concerns about rising maternal deaths in the community. Postpartum hemorrhage a leading cause of maternal mortality highlights the need for improved healthcare access and emergency services.
