
St Patrick’s Catholic Church, Obinnwane, came alive with joy and thanksgiving as parishioners, clergy, and invited guests gathered to warmly welcome the Bishop of the Orlu Diocese for the official dedication of the parish.
The historic event marked a significant spiritual milestone for the Obinnwane community, reflecting years of faith, sacrifice, and unity among the people. Songs of praise, prayers, and cultural displays filled the atmosphere as the faithful celebrated the growth of the Church and the blessing of having their parish formally dedicated.
Speaking during the ceremony, the Bishop encouraged the parishioners to remain steadfast in faith, love, and service to one another, reminding them that the Church is not just a building, but a living community rooted in Christ.
The Bishop, His Lordship Most Rev’d, Augustine T. Ukwoma Praised the Community for their Unity and thanked The Amiable Royal Father of the community, Eze Justin Ezeala (Ezenwanne 1 of Akah Land) for his Generousness in ensuring that such Might Edifice is established for God in the heart of the Community for worship.
