In the spirit of the festive season, the Umuaka Charity Livestock Foundation has announced a special Chicken and Turkey Bonanza aimed at making Christmas more affordable for residents of Umuaka.
The event will take place on Tuesday, 24 December 2025, at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Umuaka, where chickens and turkeys will be sold at highly subsidised prices. This initiative marks the first of its kind in Umuaka, and is already generating excitement within the community.
As part of the programme, there will also be a raffle draw, giving participants the opportunity to win free chickens and turkeys to support their Christmas celebrations.
This initiative builds on the foundation’s earlier efforts in the year, during which free livestock was distributed to Umuaka youths to empower them and encourage sustainable livestock farming. The foundation has continued to explore practical ways of extending support and spreading economic relief across the community.
Umuaka Charity Livestock Foundation says this programme is another step toward ensuring that more families can experience joy and dignity during the festive season.
UmuakaNews24 congratulates the organisers for this thoughtful initiative and wishes them continued success in their community-focused work.
Residents are encouraged to share this information with friends and well-wishers and come out in numbers to participate.
