Umuaka News24 has received reports of multiple road accidents affecting the community.
Earlier on 26th August 2025, opposite Umuaka Unity Motor Park, a car struck a young man, causing him to lose consciousness. Fortunately, he was rushed to the hospital, and reports indicate that he survived. Eye-witnesses described the scene as terrifying.
In a separate incident last week Wednesday, a tipper fatally struck someone who was returning from a burial in another part of Njaba outside Umuaka.
These incidents are distinct from the tragic death of Mr. Clifford, who was also killed by a tipper. Reports suggest that both the driver and the tipper vehicle involved in Mr. Clifford’s accident has disappeared.
The community continues to mourn the frequent loss of lives, as accidents seem to be happening like flies every day.
