One of the honest and truthful illustrious sons of Amiyi has sent out yet another passionate appeal to Akah Ebeiri daughters in the diaspora to rise and intervene in the battle to return the town’s hospital to its rightful owners.

The hospital, originally built through communal efforts and sacrifices, has reportedly been taken over by individuals who neither represent the founding vision nor the welfare of the community.

🔊 “Our mothers and sisters abroad must not be silent. This is a legacy built on the sweat of our ancestors. If we lose it now, generations to come will suffer,” one community elder said.

The call is growing louder to Bring back our hospital. Restore our heritage.

In his latest Appeal, the Elder from Amiyi wrote,

Appeal To Umuaka-Ebeiri Women In Diaspora To Intervene In The Return Of The Town’s Hospital To Original Owners.

Dear Umuaka-Ebeiri/Old Umuaka Women In Diaspora,

I humbly appeal to you to intervene in the matter of our Town’s Hospital, which is currently under the control of our traditional ruler,His Royal Highness,Eze Bar.Francis Okey Ahanotu, the Iyi1 of Amiyi-Akah Autonomous community.I kindly request that you utilize your virtues and influence to implore the Traditional Ruler,HRH Eze Bar.Francis Okey Ahanotu, the Iyi1 of Amiyi-Akah Autonomous community to return the Umuaka Community Hospital to its owners for optimal use.

I’m not seeking conflict, but rather a peaceful resolution to this issue.I trust that you will explore the best possible approach to resolve this matter.
