Umuaka, Imo State – Authorities in Njaba Local Government Area have launched a manhunt for one Mr Uche, a middle-aged man from Amakor community, following allegations of serious misconduct involving a minor under his care.
It is Alleged that He chased his wife away sometime ago, took custody of the girl and as she grew under his nose, he turned her into a secret wife.
Mr Uche, a barber at a shop in Obeakpu but based in Umuele, has reportedly been the sole guardian of the girl since separating from her mother several years ago.
Recent developments of pregnancy of the minor by the father has prompted concerned community members to alert authorities, leading to the ongoing investigation.
Law enforcement officials are urged to Step into the matter and handle it with urgency, as the suspect is currently at large. The public has been urged to assist with any information that may aid in his apprehension.
Relevant agencies are requested to step in to ensure the well-being of the minor, as further details are expected as the investigation progresses.
