Amb, Eddy Ahumaraeze has made an urgent appeal to the Traditional Ruler of Amiyi-Akah autonomous community, His Royal Majesty Eze Barr. Francis Okey Ahanotu, to return the leased hospital to its original owners, citing concerns over the lease’s management and purpose.

In his Open request, he said:

An Urgent Appeal For Hospital’s Return.

To The Respected Traditional Ruler, His Royal Majesty, Eze Barr.Francis Okey Ahanotu, the Iyi1 of Amiyi-Akah autonomous community,

I humbly appeal to you to reconsider returning the leased hospital to the ten communities that originally owned it.The controversy and confusion surrounding the lease have generated significant concern among Umuaka -ebeiri/Old Umuaka community members.

Unfortunately, the intended purpose of the lease appears not to have been fulfilled, leading to doubts about its management.

For transparency and accountability, it would be beneficial to disclose the proceeds from the lease. I urge you to address the Umuaka-Ebeiri people on these matters and consider releasing the hospital back to the ten communities.This would foster a sense of ownership and belonging among all community members.
