A shocking incident occurred yesterday 24th April 2025 along the Isiozi Umuaka expressway when a woman from Obinnwane was nearly killed by a hit-and-run vehicle.
Eyewitnesses have approached Umuaka News24 to claim that the vehicle involved is an SUV allegedly owned by the Njaba Local Government Area.
According to reports to Umuaka News24, the occupants of the SUV initially stopped to assess the situation but fled the scene, allegedly fearing implication when they probably thought the woman was dead.
The incident raises serious concerns about accountability and transparency.
Further investigation is needed to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and to ensure justice is served.
