Our communities stand at a critical juncture and immediate action is necessary. The rise of homosexuality and other abhorrent crimes threatens to erode our values and traditions.
In the past, such acts were considered taboo and punishable by banishment. The offender would be expelled, and a cleansing ritual performed to restore balance.
We cannot continue down this path. If we fail to act, our society risks moral decay and disintegration.
I urge our traditional rulers to issue a local Royal decree addressing these issues. Our kings must demonstrate leadership, restoring peace, security and dignity.
The time for action is now.
Let our youth leaders should stop using insecurities as an excuse and address local community abnormalities.
