These philanthropists notably Mazi Chukwuma ijeoma, Mazi Emeka Ohanekwu, Mazi Edozie Nwaiwu, Mazi Toochukwu Nwosu and The AIG of police, Kanayo Uzuegbu, have generously provided free borehole water for the community, ensuring that residents have a reliable source of this essential resource.
Honourable Nestor, CEO of Onwubuche Electrical, Solar, and Electronics Supply Company, recently captured the joy and gratitude of community members as they fetched water from various points of water supply pumps. He praised the individuals responsible for this initiative, saying, “Their kind gesture is a shining example of community spirit and a testament to the power of collective effort.”
Honourable Nestor encouraged others to follow in their footsteps, stating, “By being a blessing to our respective communities, we can make Umuaka a better city for all.” He highlighted that as long as electricity supply is available in Obeakpu, water will remain a free gift for the community.
The impact of this initiative extends beyond Obeakpu, with neighboring villages also benefiting from the free water supply. Many families who cannot afford private boreholes rely on the nearby free pipe supply, demonstrating the ripple effect of kindness and generosity.
